Beer in the keg lines?!
I may have been a bit vigorous in my efforts to force carbonate a batch of beer, and now there is beer in my "IN" line, as well as the cap piece that fits onto the valve on the keg (the "IN" bracket?). Obviously I cleaned it out, but now I am curious about what sanitation steps I should take with the line and the bracket. Can I use the bracket after a good rinse and blowout? Or should I wait until I can blow it out with cleanser (which will be hard with a full keg of beer.)?

Ideally you would hook up the gas lines to an empty keg with hot b-brite (or your favorite cleanser) in it and run some through, let it soak, then rinse with hot water and dry thoroughly.
Just a good rinse with hot water (give it time to soak) would probably go a long way to fixing it, but longer term, you don't want to risk your gas lines being a source of funkiness or contamination.
If you ever have stubborn gunk in your lines you can get a line brush at HBX-but I find time + hot b-brite solves all my problems. You can also just replace hosing as it isn't terribly expensive.

Thanks. I was more worried about the nozzle piece than the lines (which were pretty easy to clean). I will find a friend who is cleaning a keg and give the nozzles a rinse.
