Retail Associate

Job Description

  • Operate point-of-sale system and ring up sales.
  • Assist customers with brewing equipment, ingredients, and techniques. Make customers happy.
  • Keep shop clean and organized.
  • Watch for and recognize security risks and thefts, and know how to prevent or handle these situations.
  • Stock shelves and enter items into inventory.

Qualifications
The following are desired qualifications for the job. We will be flexible on some of these for strong, enthusiastic candidates.

  • Experience with or interest in home brewing. Interested candidates with little brewing experience may be able get up to speed by studying.
  • Retail or point of sale experience.
  • Computer literacy.
  • A creative, crafty streak is a plus.

Retail Manager

Job Description
The HBX Retail Manager position consists of key responsibilities which keep the business running smoothly. In addition to the skills desired for the Retail Associate position above, this manager should also be comfortable owning these extra responsibilities:

  • Managing Employees. Your job is to keep the schedule covered with people who make customers happy. Hiring, training, scheduling, and retention are key.
  • Customer Relations. You will help us make sure we listen to customers and make them happy.
  • Purchasing / Inventory / Logistics. Make sure we keep items in stock and are buying from the best suppliers at the best prices.
  • Optional: Accounting and bookeeping.

Qualifications

  • Management Experience... or the motivation to become a good manager.
  • Motivated and Detail Oriented. We want someone who has the drive to get things done.
  • Desire to work in Start-Up Environment is a plus. Your roles are only limited by your ambition. Help us grow the business and share in the success.
