Homebrew Beer Recipe

Style (BJCP):
01A. American Lager - Light/Standard/Premium
Volume in US Gallons:
3 gal
Extract Ingredients:
2 lbs Golden Light Dry Malt Extract
1 lb 10 oz 2 row
8 oz Munich
8 oz crystal 60
4 oz victory
.75 oz Northern Brewer hops @ 60
.5 oz Northern Brewer hops @ 30
.5 oz Northern Brewer hops @ 5 min
Wyeast California Lager Yeast 2112
Extract Instructions:
Partial Mash Recipe - 3 gallons
Mash grains in 2 gallons of water at 151 degrees for 1 hour. If you don't have a mash tun, try a using a pot and a large coarse straining bag. Raise temperature to 168. Rinse grains with 1 gallon water at 172. Bring total volume to 4 gallons. Bring to a boil. Add hops according to schedule. Cool to 65 degrees. Aerate thoroughly. Pitch yeast. Ferment at room temperature for 3-4 weeks. If desired, cool to to below 50 degrees for 1-2 week before bottling.

This beer is tasty! Light and drinkable with a clean finish. This would be really great on a summer day. Now if it was just summer......
