Extract Ingredients: 

1 lb. 5 oz British pale ale malt
11 oz. German Pilsner malt
1 lb. 10 oz. light dried malt extract
3 lbs. light liquid malt extract
0.75 oz Cascade hops at 60 minutes
0.75 oz Cascade hops at 30 minutes
0.75 oz Cascade hops at 0 minutes
0.88 oz Amarillo hops (dry hop)
Nottingham ale yeast

Extract Instructions: 

Place crushed grains in steeping bag.
Submerge bag in 3 quarts of water at 161 degrees.
Steep grains at 150 degrees for 45 minutes.
Begin heating 2 gallons water in brewpot and 1.5 quarts at 170 degrees in small pan.
After steep, lift bag into colander placed over brewpot, pour and rinse grains.
Stir in malt extract and boil, adding hops as above.
Stir in liquid extract at end of boil, cover, for 5 minutes before cooling wort.
Transfer wort to fermenter and top up to 5 gallons.
Aerate well and pitch yeast. Ferment at 68 degrees.
